Hello all! I just started this blog as a way to hopefully record and share my many experiences on the road. My wife and now my brand-new daughter are my travel companions and the loves of my life. As this blog grows and as time progresses, I hope to be able to use this as an outlet for my 'itchy feet.' Having a newborn and wanting to go to college are going to make trips - whether planned, spontanious, local, long-distance, day trips, or week-long excursions - a little more difficult to squeeze into life... so for the immediate future, this will be my medium for trying to catch up on all of the trips my wife and I have been on - starting from our engagement and illustrating our adventures up to our first anniversary; hopefully this will compensate for me not being able to physically 'get out of town' as much.

Oooh, this is a great idea! I'll be checking back soon to see where the heck you go with a new baby, hopefully it will inspire me to make more trips with our little one too. AND maybe I can talk my husband into making his own blog since I haven't gotten him to post on the one I started yet. Have fun you two!
